The Production Run
A factory proves itself with a production run, not a prototype. The same output, repeatedly, at a rate, without heroics.
By August 2028 we expect more than one in five developers on our leaderboard at the top tier, and the median one rung below it. Ten agent workstreams at once, ten agent-written PRs merging a week. Today that number is zero.
Everybody to Operator
Three agents at once, a couple of things merging every week.
The smallest tier by the numbers and the hardest by everything else, because it is the only rung where you give up something you are currently good at.
What it takes
- Width
- 3.2 agents at once
- Not ten. Often enough that it is your median, not your best afternoon.
- Depth
- 10.4M tokens per session
- Give a session a whole task instead of a question.
- Output
- 2.1 merged agent PRs a week
- Eight or nine in the month. The work has to land.
- Sustain
- 17 active days
- Most working days of the month.
- Cost
- ≤ $315 per merged PR
- Comfortably inside the $750 ceiling, which is the one axis still enforced as a hard cap.
What you get
- 01Run 01 badge
Permanent on your profile and beside your name on the board. Dated, numbered, and only ever awarded once. Later runs mint their own.
- 02Factory tee
Everyone who clears Operator inside the window gets one, shipped anywhere we can post to.
- 03One more thing
There is a third thing for everyone who finishes. We are not saying what it is until October.
